road trippin’!

Yay!  It’s finally here!  After a long wait, Mike and I are finally hitting the road to NC/TN to visit family for Christmas :)  Last year, we went on our first cross country road trip and much to my surprise, we had a lot of fun…I completely expected us to get bored and basically go nuts after riding all day long, but we had the best time, just talking and talking and, yup, more talking!  I’ll be updating the blog as we go, along with updating a few shoots, so be sure to check back :)

My dear friend and fabulous photographer, Alice Park, created NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) this past year and it is already the place to be if you’re a professional child photographer.  NAPCP is holding a membership drive this month and they are giving away thousands of dollars in prizes!!!  How fun!  And what a great time of the year to load up on goodies and get ready to network for the new year!  If you are into Twitter and Facebook, be sure to follow NAPCP on Twitter as well as Facebook to learn about the 25 reasons to join NAPCP!  I joined NAPCP this past March and it has been an incredible learning source for me as well as a place to get to know other photographers!
