Happy Monday!  I thought I’d brighten up the Monday blues with some frame/decor inspiration from Real Simple magazine.  I love this look…modern and classic, yet different and simple!

Last week I blogged about fun, whimsical framing for the kids rooms and this week I’m sharing more contemporary framing for the rest of the home!  Be sure to ask about these at your next session!

Happy Thursday!

home office decor inspiration {santa barbara family photographer}

Happy Monday everyone!  This past weekend I was perusing through Decor Pad again (shocking, I know!) and I came across this lovely home office.  Not only do I love the colors of the room, but I love, love, love the huge black frames with gorgeous matted black and white prints.  As I always say, don’t be afraid to go big!  It’s dramatic!

children’s room whimsical framing! {santa barbara family photographer}

I recently ordered some new framing samples and my, they are soo cute!  Here’s the first one…I’ll blog the others later  :)

You can order virtually any color and choose solid, dots, wavy lines or stripes.  Fun!

And they are made of sturdy, durable wood with no glass.  The prints are sprayed so you never have to worry about dusting because the prints are forever protected!

Happy Thursday!

fun frame locations {santa barbara family photographer}

Happy Thursday everyone!  I was browsing my favorite website this morning and came across this fun image on DecorPad.  I love how the landing on this stairway has been dressed up and dramatic, yet not cluttered.  Some people are scared to try new things, especially on stairways, because what if it looks odd or has been measured wrong and the images are of out of line?  If you purchase a premium session with Whitney Elizabeth Portraiture, you don’t have to worry about that because we measure and hang your family artwork for you…takes all the guesswork and well, work, out of it!  ;)

Isn’t this pretty!?
